The Ultra-Performance top bearing trim router bits feature a solid carbide sleeve welded to a hardened steel core. This results in a bit that performs like a solid carbide bit which is considerably less expensive. Upgrain routing is where this bit shines and with it's complex up-down or compression geometry this spiral router bit with bearing produces a finish that is unmatched by standard flush trim bits.
