Description
3D carving CNC end mills with ZRN coating provide the extra length needed to carve 3D shapes out of solid wood, plastic, foam and other materials. The extended bit design provides the necessary reach to create high relief projects. It is important to perform the large material removal with a standard CNC endmill and only utilize these bits for the final high-resolution pass. Any added strain on these bits can result in breakage to these delicate bits. With the added ZRN coating, the bit’s lifespan and durability are substantially increased, avoiding any unnecessary down time.
This ZRN coated endmill has a 1/8" cutting diameter x 1" cutting length. The overall length is 2-1/2" with a 1/4" shank.
